Frayed Knot’s first ever floral offerings were for a dear friend’s wedding in 2018. Since then thousands of flowers have been grown for a variety of nuptials and events.

From large scale installations to intimate personals, we’ve done a little bit of everything. Nothing matches the feeling of sharing the season’s best blooms with folks in these treasured moments.

Frayed Knot currently works with clients that are interested in using local blooms to arrange their own tablescapes and venue accents, June through September. Being a “DIY” client ensures the same quality and variety of flowers while allowing more budget and design flexibility.

event floral offerings

DIY mixed floral buckets include 40-50 seasonal speciality flowers and foliage grown at the farm and neighboring farms to ensure the best product for your event. Each stem is carefully chosen with your design aesthetic and color palette in mind. Florals are cut, hydrated and ready for you or a loved one to design with. Florals are carefully packaged in a reusable bucket that are yours to keep.

Personals a la carte are one of a kind floral pieces, specially designed and arranged by us for you. Think bespoke hand wrapped seasonal bouquets, boutonnieres, crowns and floral jewelry. We absolutely love pouring over the details to create these handheld and wearable items to truly capture the moment in time.

delivery or pick up

based on your event needs, we offer a variety of pick up and delivery options for both diy buckets and personals. Logistics will be discussed both in your consultation and closer to your event date as you finalize the timeline of your day/weekend.

pricing

diy buckets are $175 per bucket and include a variety of the best premium blooms of the season. In our consultation we will help you determine how many buckets you need for your event based on your overall vision. Having had experience designing and arranging for weddings, we are happy to help make suggestions on design adjustments you can make to help fit your budget.

personals a la carte vary in pricing based on desired design style, quantity and size. during your consultation we will discuss your vision for personal items and take into consideration the variety of items needed. pricing is customized to each item and will be reflected on the proposal following the consultation.








FAQs

I don’t know specific flower names or have an idea of whats seasonal, how do I pick my flowers? We are here to help! You absolutely don’t have to know even a single flower name, although we will be happy to share all of them! If you have pictures or a pinterest board of flowers, tablescapes or personal floral items you like, bring that to the consultation and we will help you with the rest. We will be happy to find flowers that are in season that are either the same or comparable to the look you’re going for. That’s our speciality!

I have been collecting vases that I love, how many flowers should I get? It’s great if you already have vases or vessels for your flowers or have an idea of what you might be designing with. knowing the volume of the vessels will help determine how many flowers you need, we will do that math for you! If you don’t know what you will be arranging your flowers in, that’s no problem. We can give you a range based on most standard vase sizes and table lengths. We can also consult on amount of flowers needed for installations, altar’s, chuppahs, entry ways and more!

what budget should I have for flowers? I’m not sure where to start. Everyone’s budget and needs are different. It’s very important to us that we make our offerings as accessible as possible while also honoring the work that we do and ethically compensating all those involved in bringing your blooms to fruition. We’ve worked with clients with a wide range of budgeting needs and have always been able to make it work without disrupting the integrity of their vision. our average client typically spends $2,000-$4,000 for an intimate to mid sized event. For a larger event 150+ you can expect to spend $4,000-$6,000. The more flexible you are with your design style and overall vision, the easier it will be to fit into your budget. The bottom line is: the more flowers you want, the bigger budget you will need!

I don’t have a specific vision or style in mind, I just love local flowers! what are my next steps? No problem! Whether you have a strong vision or are happy with whatever the season brings, we can make it a reality. Your next step is to book a consultation so we can discuss the size, location and logistics of your event to get a better idea of what your flower needs might be.  From there we will create a customized proposal that will include flowers that are available at the time of year, general design style, color palette and pricing.

Appointments can be booked through a $50 non-refundable consultation fee, that will be used towards your floral total. The fee covers the consultation, a formal proposal with pricing and any adjustments needed to your quote.
